Nirmallya Kar is Project Management (PMP®) and Quality professional having around 20 + years of experience at ST Microelectronics in the domain of semiconductor industry. Nirmallya works in Human Process Consulting, wherein he brings out the organization reality that is beyond the structures and functions of the organisation – the internal human processes of the organisation. These human processes are what really determines the outcome of the organisation. And if these processes are identified and harnessed well, they have the potential to lead the organisation to the state of excellence, which no structure, role, strategy or function are capable of. Nirmallya believes in the inherent potential of human beings and that can be harnessed to achieve a harmony between the goals of the organisation and the growth and development of the individuals. Nirmallya has worked through the complete development cycle of memories starting from requirement analysis to Silicon out and debugging, he has managed memory projects and has been managing programs of the foundation libraries (IP) with external customers across different semiconductor’s state of art technologies like 28nm and 32nm. He has also worked on the transformational projects across geography to bring out functional and cultural change in the organization in the domain of Project Management and Quality. He is based in Delhi and has multi-site and multi-cultural exposure in working with European, American and eastern customer and colleagues. He has worked extensively in Europe with different assignments.
