Position Summary Software Engineer with good exposure to testing, He/She should be able to create test cases, execute them and also recommend options for optimizations and automations. A good exposure to web segment of the industry (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, CMS, Web Servers, etc) would be an added advantage. Hands on experience with any scripting language or one high level programing language like Java, C, C++ or good automation knowledge. What you’ll do • Test Features owned • Create test cases and test plans • Log bugs and monitor its progress • Automate the test cases when requirement arises. • What you need to succeed Required work experience • 1-4 years of software product testing experience. • Required knowledge and skills • Ability to interpret product specifications & use testing tools to test product area. • Ability to create Test cases for the features areas owned and execute them. • Should be able to take on on complete responsibilities of automating test cases assigned with minimal help • Understands SDLC and importance of testing process • Communication Skills: write & maintain test specs and scripts • Good Knowledge in Web architecture, HTML and CSS • Good Understanding of any high level Programming Language (Java or C/C++). • JavaScript Scripting knowledge is good to have • SILK, QTP or any other equivalent automation tool exposure is good to have • Above all good attitude to solve issues and take on any challenges that come across.
