Java Architect Job Duties:
Defining architecture of Java apps, implementing and maintaining the same
Verifying stability, interoperability, portability, security and scalability of java system architecture.
Determining platform architecture, technology, and tools; studying business operations and user-interface requirements; directing development of physical database.
Improving architecture by tracking emerging technologies; evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements.
Contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production and quality standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
Technically leading / mentoring a team of developers
Java Architect Skills and Qualifications:
Software Architecture, Software Design, Presenting Technical Information, Core Java, Java Beans, Java Servlets, JavaScript, Web Programming Skills, Project estimation, Project Management. Experience in Node.js / AngularJS will be a plus. Relevant experience in one of the databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL etc.) is must.
